We offer a wide range of interests and styles and are happy to meet your needs and interests. Instruction is offered for beginner music, intermediate music, and advanced music. Many students come wanting to learn specific styles of music, or a particular song. Whether it is singing/voice lessons or electric guitar lessons, or any of our other offerings, we’ll make sure we give you the proper tools to grow and get the skills to enjoy music for life!

Empire State Youth Orchestra supports 14 performing ensembles. To join an ESYO performing ensemble, you must complete an online audition. Placement in an ESYO ensemble is based on your current musical skill and not by age.

Guilderland Music Academy offers exceptional music lessons to students of all ages and levels in a fun and engaging environment. We focus on core principles and incorporate the music you enjoy. Beginning students can expect to start with the fundamentals, learn proper technique, rhythm, and reading music in a variety of genres. Intermediate to advanced students continue to experience progress with increased proficiency in technique in addition to mastering significant repertoire and developing overall musicianship. We celebrate the uniqueness of every student! Our faculty will take care in creating a unique curriculum for each student, utilizing various teaching methods that work best for the individual and focusing on your musical interests. Whether a beginner or an advanced student, our passionate teachers give students of all ages and levels the tools to develop musically and nurture a life-long love of music. The Guilderland Music Academy approach of a comprehensive music education includes theory, ear training, sight reading, technique, and history with the best and most experienced music teachers in the Guilderland area.

After-school and weekend classes are available based on demand. We are happy to accommodate special requests, including group sessions if there is sufficient interest and events such as birthday parties.

ON CAMERA Film Acting Class for Young People ages 7 to 16. The 4-weekend classes (8 hours total) are GREAT for those NEW to film acting (no experience required) & its a “tune-up” for experienced actors. Everyone gets ON CAMERA personalized coachIng.

Now offering individual & group music therapy, adaptive music lessons, community music groups for all abilities and ages, and teletherapy!

Omega Family Week during the summer includes workshops for adults and kids camps that run concurrently. Meals, community gatherings, and evening entertainment are enjoyed together outside of the classroom.

All of our dance center classes are currently offered for after school hours. We also have classes on saturdays.
