Music Speaks, Music Therapy Services

Music Speaks, a private music therapy practice based in the Capital Region of NYS, is excited to be offering music therapy services to families with children and adults of all abilities. Music Speaks serves many school districts, facilities and families privately across the Capital Region and beyond. Through activities like instrument play and movement, music therapy can be used to improve behavioral health, academic skills, cognition, motor functioning, social skills, and communication. Our Music Therapists are credentialed professionals using clinical music interventions to accomplish non-musical individualized goals within a therapeutic relationship. Music Speaks thrives on creating a positive therapeutic relationship with its clients while meeting them “in the moment" to allow their wants and needs to be met and to ensure a non-invasive, creative environment.
