Nuts and Crackers (co-produced with Creative License) is an immersive, reimagined spin-off of our popular productions So You Think You Can Choreograph and Sip, Savor & Swirl. Guest choreographers are commissioned to create original works inspired by excerpts from Act II of The Nutcracker, offering fresh and inventive interpretations of the holiday classic. The production will also feature new choreography by recent Sip, Savor & Swirl winners Juliette Rafael and Michaela Curcio. Throughout the historic spaces of the Universal Preservation Hall, audiences will travel from scene to scene as dancers and actors bring The Nutcracker to life in an immersive theatrical experience. As with our previous productions, audience members will vote for their favorite piece, and one choreographer will be awarded the coveted Golden Nutcracker.
