There's nothing like water when it comes to beating the heat and entertaining kids! KidsOutAndAbout provides its extra-special list of great places in and around the Capital Region where kids can splash to their heart's content.

Central Capital District:

Western Capital District and Nearby Points North:
All City of Schenectady Public Pools are free, but you must bring a Photo ID. As of early July 2021, Quackenbush and Hillhurst pools have not yet opened as they complete repairs.
There are now public spray pools at Tribute Park in Schenectady, which is on Eastern Parkway between Lomasney Ave. and Walnut Street, and at Collins Park in Scotia.
Eastern Capital District and Nearby Points East:
