Come view the stars and planets in Landis' dark skies with members of the Albany Area Amateur Astronomers. A variety of telescopes will be set up for viewing the heavens, revealing nebulae, star clusters, galaxies, double stars, planets, and other celestial objects. The Albany Area Amateur Astronomers will be hosting the following star parties in 2026 at Landis Arboretum:
- Saturday, March 21: 8-10PM
- Saturday, April 18: 8:30-10:30PM
- Saturday, May 16: 9-11PM
- Saturday, June 13: 9:30-11:30PM
- Saturday, July 11: 9:30-11:30PM
- Saturday, August 8: 9-11PM
- Thursday, August 20, club meeting starting at 7:30PM, Star Party following if the skies cooperate
- Saturday, Sept 12: 8-10PM
