BeTa partners with local schools and parent associations to offer before and after-school enrichment programs held directly at the school. BeTa also organizes programming for school half days, kids might out events and summer enrichment programs.

The Center provides a wide array of classes in dance (Ballet, Latin, Lyrical, Hip Hop, Tap & Jazz), music (Percussion, Vocals, Guitar & Brooklyn Music Factory), fitness, theater, Songwriting, Martial arts, technology and the visual arts.

Our Clifton Park performing arts school offers classes and instruction in a variety of performing arts to students of all ages and abilities. We offer music lessons in individual or group settings for instruments including Piano, Voice, Guitar, Electric Guitar, Drums, Percussion, Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Flute, Saxophone, Clarinet, Trumpet, and Trombone. We also offer private and group dance classes and instruction in a variety of styles including, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Modern, and Lyrical. In addition to music we offer private instruction for fine arts as well. Private art instruction allows for undivided and personalized attention while ensuring the development of the student’s own unique style and abilities. We also offer group art classes for ages 3 and up. Our theater program includes private and group instruction for musical theater, acting 101, personae, play writing, and comedy.

eba classes emphasize creativity, an individual point of view, dance as art and dance as an activity that everyone can participate in. Students learn dance technique in an encouraging, enjoyable and disciplined atmosphere. Each student then uses the dance steps they are mastering to create their own dances; developing both their minds and their bodies. Students study technique and create their own dances in every single Kids Dancspace @ eba class. The last five minutes of each class is parent observation time, so kids can develop their performance skills, and the parents can see what their child is learning and give lots of positive feedback via applause, applause, applause! Informal showings are held at the end of the year. No stressful & costly recitals or competitions.

The Art and Magic of Blacklight Theater

Free Columbia began in 2009 as a year long program based in experiential two dimensional art: painting and drawing. Over the years Free Columbia expanded to include puppetry, Goethean science, social change, children’s classes and much more, but the base in experience runs through all of our programs.

Performing arts classes

Hudson Hall provides FREE afterschool art classes, dance classes, and drama classes for local youth taught by passionate and engaging professionals in the field.

At Lighthouse, we offer a variety of in-person and virtual creative writing workshops, in all genres, on weekends, after school, and during school-closure days, including the Young Authors Collective for teens, summer camps, and homeschool enrichment

The Mac-Haydn endeavors to provide young actors from the Capital Region tutoring and mentorship while being immersed inside a working regional professional company.

ON CAMERA Film Acting Class for Young People ages 7 to 16. The 4-weekend classes (8 hours total) are GREAT for those NEW to film acting (no experience required) & its a “tune-up” for experienced actors. Everyone gets ON CAMERA personalized coachIng.
