Blessed Sacrament School- Albany, NY

Founded in 1916 by the Sisters of Mercy, Blessed Sacrament School, with the strong support of its parish family, has earned the reputation of an outstanding academic and spiritual school.

The distinctive purpose of Blessed Sacrament School is to create a Catholic Christian Education Community. It is our hope to provide a total quality Catholic education in which each student can grow in his or her spiritual life, academic ability, and physical maturity. The faculty will continue to strive to provide a Catholic Christian environment in which each student can grow to their fullest potential.

Blessed Sacrament School is also quite diverse. It boasts an ethnically diverse student body, with students from 14 different countries in Asia, Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean. Students come from a variety of different neighborhoods in Albany and Colonie. And while the school is Catholic, many students are non-Catholic Christians.
