The Office of Community Education at Hudson Valley Community College offers a wide range of educational, professional and recreational credit-free classes for everyone from kids to seniors.
The Iroquois Museum is an anthropological museum that uses art to educate and inspire. Our collections of contemporary Iroquois art and archeological artifacts open a window on Iroquois culture and society. Our programs fulfill the NYS Learning Standards for the Arts, Social Studies, and Language Arts. The Museum provides a stimulating object-based learning environment that engages visitors on visual, tactile, and intellectual levels.
MITY offers over 100 unique STEM, humanities and fine arts courses that are specifically designed to meet the needs of advanced learners. Classes cover topics not typically taught in schools within a fun and challenging environment.
ON CAMERA Film Acting Class for Young People ages 7 to 16. The 4-weekend classes (8 hours total) are GREAT for those NEW to film acting (no experience required) & its a “tune-up” for experienced actors. Everyone gets ON CAMERA personalized coachIng.

Summer Programs like Nature Study (K-5), Ecological Explorations (6-8), and Wildlife Ecology Research Day Program (9-12) provide unique field-based learning experiences by giving students the opportunity to explore nature, ask questions, and carry out research projects while learning about the various facets of field biology.
We offer virtual educational enrichment classes via ZOOM for children in 1st-6th grades, Monday through Friday, five days a week from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM PST.
