What our organization offers:
Ages for which our activities are most appropriate:
Togetherness, Sharing and Learning Capital Region Childcare programs for children of all ages. We have a wonderful community of friends and neighbors here in Troy. That's one of the reasons why we are so proud to offer a variety of childcare programs in multiple locations throughout the city. This includes a daycare center and after school program at 547 River Street (directly off 787), a private preschool and Troy district UPK center at Sacred Heart School, which also includes summer camp for ages 3-12, and an after school program for pre-school children at Public School 12. So whether you live or work here in The Collar City (or both), if you need a partner in providing childcare services to your children, stop by one of our locations to learn more. Our programs are run by experienced teachers and counselors who prefer to acknowledge the way children develop, their physical and emotional needs and preferences. Our staff to children ratios are low to ensure your children get the attention they deserve.
Our highly structured curriculum includes science, reading, drama, cooperative games, cooking, singing, water play, walks for special treats, arts and crafts, cooperative sports, and a host of other fun activities. We teach social skills and use non-behaviorist discipline techniques.
At TSL, you’ll find experienced, motivated, professional teachers who put your children first in all facets of the day. We promise that your child will be part of something special and unique, feel loved, nurtured, challenged and respected in a wonderfully healthy, safe environment.
