Storytelling

Join us and learn about the storytelling tradition.

Storytelling always has been an important way to communicate in cultures across the world. Join us to learn about this tradition, and in particular how the Native Peoples of New York have passed on information and stories. A museum educator will also present a few examples of stories from the oral traditions of our state’s Native Peoples.
