Story Dance Studios provides a movement based program for children that combines story-telling with movement and music. Nursery rhymes and books come alive to music as your child co-creates and acts out the story! The focus will be on the development of motor skills, musical awareness and a child’s natural creativity.

Story Dance Studios provides a movement based program for children that combines story-telling with movement and music. In our classes, children will explore ways to move their bodies to music. We will use story-telling as a way to create movement and express ourselves. The focus will be on the development of motor skills, musical awareness and a child’s natural creativity.
In these fun-filled classes, children will warm up their bodies and learn specific themes to help with the stories throughout the class. For example, we may talk about different pathways and then the stories would reinforce the lesson. Or we may talk about different emotions and then listen to music that would sound happy, silly or exciting and move like the music.
- WEeMove Class, Children 1 to 3 years old with caregiver
- Movement Story Dance, Children 4-6 years old with session performances
The WEeMove Classes are on Mondays at 9:15am for 1-3 yr olds with caregiver. The Movement Story Dance classes are on Thursdays at 12:15pm for 4-6 yr olds with a session performance.
