Creative Harmonies Music Studio is a full service inclusive music studio for both children and adults. We offer piano lessons, through our learning specialist, for children with various disabilities, learning challenges and learning styles and their typical siblings - we are a piano studio for the whole family! We also offer Skype lessons for those students who may face barriers to reach our physical location. At Creative Harmonies Music Studio success is at everyone's fingertips!

CREATIVE HARMONIES MUSIC STUDIO

At Creative Harmonies we offer a variety of services to families near and far to experience the joy of learning to play the piano.  From specially tailored music learning programs for students with special needs, to classical piano instruction based on a solid foundation of classical technique, to Skype lessons for students at a distance or for whom our second floor studio is not an option, Creative Harmonies provides fun, innovative, personalized and creative learning solutions for every student.

ABOUT DEE CUCINOTTA

Dee is a classically trained  pianist and a learning specialist who has a BA in Music and an MS in Special Education.  Dee is a member of the MTNA (Music Teachers National Association) and CEC (Council for Exceptional Children).  She is the recipient of the  The 2016 Steinway & Sons 2016 Top Teacher of the Year Award and the The 2010 Arc of Rensselaer County Community Partners Award.

PERFORMANCE

Every year we have had a Spring Recital involving those students who are comfortable playing in front of an audience.  This is a wonderful opportunity for children to feel the thrill of entertaining an audience and be part of a larger performance group. For those children who have difficulty interacting in social situations there is an alternate, shorter recital.  This recital has only six to eight students and their families and is in a more intimate performance setting.  We also have a volunteer performance group who have performed all over the Capital Region including Proctor's Theater, The Austism Society Gala and Puzzles Bakery and Cafe.
