Children's Place

Children's Place at the Plaza offers a day camp during the summer for preschool and elementary students. Our program focuses on educating and enriching the lives of all children. Our doors open at 7:00 am until 5:30 pm for parent convenience. Each week is a different theme to keep the children engaged and interested. The daily schedule will remain the same with breakfast, lunch and snack being provided. The elementary children will be involved in community activities and visit local sites relevant to the current theme. During good weather they will be outside involved in gross motor play each day. The themes for the school age children include but are not limited to science experiments, sports, cooking creatively, growing food, and animal awareness. The preschool children will also have an active summer. Being on the plaza allows us to visit the NYS Museum, play on the playgrounds yet still learn about ocean animals, growing plants, animal antics, healthy eating and pre-k olympics. These children will also have time during the day to rest and relax with story books. Kids can sign up on a weekly basis or for the entire summer.
