From August 19-23, 2024, Young Peacemakers Week will be held at the Albany Friends Meetinghouse, 727 Madison Avenue, Albany, NY. The hours will be 1:30 to 6:30, with the individual option of early drop-off at 12:30. Each evening a family hour is held from 5:30-6:30, which includes a simple communal meal and family activities. All children entering grades two through eight are welcome to come and explore pathways to peace and peace-making. The program offers non-competitive games, cooperative activities, arts and crafts, music, dance and interactive presentations. Cost is pay-what-you-will, and kids with differing abilities are welcome.
