The Smile Lodge
Our office, as well as the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the American Dental Association (ADA), and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a "Dental Home" for your child by one year of age. Children who have a dental home are more likely to receive appropriate preventive and routine oral health care.
The Dental Home is intended to provide a place other than the Emergency Room for parents.
Informed parents are the best defense against tooth decay. We will give you all the individual risk factors your child may have for cavity formation, and arm you with the proper preventative tools to keep you child healthy and happy!
In general we like to see children when they have eight teeth or at eighteen months old. When we see a child early, we are able to reduce the chance they have a cavity by over 70%!
We will never ask you to leave your child’s presence while in our office (with the exception of general anesthesia).
Our goal is to educate your child in a fun way to routinely take care of their smile. We want to inspire life long general health habits.
We look forward to partnering with you!
We strive to make each and every visit to our office a fun one!
