School's Out, Museum's In

School’s out and not sure what to do with the kids? Bring them to Shaker Heritage Society for this FREE Museum activity. Move and Shake in this 45 minute class. Taught by Rachelle Smith-Stallman.

Inspired by the joyful rhythm of the Shakers, kids jump in, shake it out, and explore funky movement – growing confidence, creativity, and community with Rachelle Smith-Stallman. With a BS in Dance from University of New Mexico, an MS in Dance Therapy from Hunter College, and certification in IMPROVment from Wake Forest University, plus advanced Dance for PD training with the Mark Morris Dance Group, she's as excited to dance with others as she is to keep exploring movement herself.
Two-hundred and fifty years ago, Ann Lee and the Shakers arrived at the site stewarded by Shaker Heritage Society. Commemorate this momentous event in true Shaker style!
