The Christmas Fantasyland and year 'round home of Santa Claus, his live Reindeer Team, Elves, Nativity Pageants, Shows and the frozen North Pole. Since 1949, Santa’s Workshop has welcomed countless visitors to experience the magic of an authentic Christmas at its enchanting location in the North Pole, NY, just minutes from the Lake Placid Region of New York’s Adirondack Park. Located on the side of Whiteface Mountain, the park is open from July through the end of December annually, offering unique, magical programming and activities in its nostalgic and unchanging fairy tale setting. Santa's helpers enchant village visitors with live performances, including: pageants, parades and musical revues. Visit the village shops and watch as they craft their handmade holiday treasures at the Workshop's speciality stores. Toys, candy, candles... Even a Santa hat with your name on it and much more! Pet, feed and play with Santa's animal friends at the Christmas Creek Farm (Summer hours only) and visit Santa's famous reindeer team all season long. Kick back on a scenic ride through the mountains on the Candy Cane Express train ride or catch a thrill on one of our many child-friendly rides- whatever your pace, there's amusement in store! Stop in and savor a tasty bite at Mother Hubbard's Country Kitchen or satisfy your sweet tooth at Jack Sprat's Bakery.
