Nature Writing
Apr 30, May 7, June 4, and June 11
Sundays, 1:00 -3:00 PM
Nature writing is the opportunity to connect in new ways with the natural world. For centuries, writers have composed poems, stories, essays, and journals to explore, celebrate, and analyze nature. Through writing, we form what we want to say and, by saying it, we learn about ourselves, about others, about plants, and about the world. Together we will explore creative exercises and inspiring texts to have fun with words and our thoughts and insights in a guided, friendly natural environment. Bring your notebook or journal. These workshops are open to writers of all levels. Classes meet on April 30, May 7, June 4, and June 11, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM; click on the date to register. You may register for one or all classes; please complete registration for each session you wish to attend.

This event is funded in part by Poets & Writers with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature.
