Kid's Day
The annual Kids Day at Peebles Island State Park features activities throughout the park. A variety of nature crafts, a guided walk to a vernal pool and birdhouse building are part of the fun. There is also a self-guided Storywalk and visits by local libraries. Fishing rod casting, archery and kayak demonstrations will be provided by a local pro shop.

The annual Kids Day at Peebles Island State Park features activities in the Park Office/Visitor’s Center, at the Pavilion, and throughout the park. A variety of nature crafts, a guided walk to a vernal pool and birdhouse building are part of the fun. There is also a self-guided Storywalk and visits by local libraries. Fishing rod casting, archery and kayak demonstrations will be provided by a local pro shop. All activities are open to the public and free while supplies last. The event will be held rain or shine. Boots or old shoes and appropriate outdoor clothing are recommended. Kids Day is sponsored by the Friends of Peebles Island State Park.
