The "Keys To Please" method gets you playing and SOUNDING GOOD FAST ! These are the kind of lessons your kids will LOVE ! By putting chords to well known songs and then adding a melodic line with your vocal or with the right hand, you will be inspired, stay motivated, have fun and learn theory in an applied fashion without years of lessons and lectures ! YOU pick the direction you want to go based on YOUR goals ! Almost any song can be translated into a piano cover! Every new song represents a chance to learn something different and opens the door to performing many different genres of music as a solo performer or in a band. Learn to compose your own music, improvise and "hear" chord changes on your own. As a bonus your vocal will get stronger as I work with you on pitch, style, volume and overall control to bring out your own natural and comfortable singing voice.
These are the kind of lessons your kids will love ! But if you are a beginning adult student or a more experienced player looking to expand on your chording technique and rhythm skills in rock, blues, funk, pop country or just about any other genre, then this method is a great choice for you too !
If you are a musician and just want to learn how to play songs and/or learn parts to songs because you are in a band then I can quickly get you through the basics of the song or break it down into note-for note detail.
Lessons are $ 30 for 1/2 hour $ 50 for 1 hour and begin the week of September 12th.
