Chatham Public Library- NY
The Chatham Public Library was chartered in 1902 and features weekly storyhours, a local history collection, wi-fi and Internet access, a Large Print fiction collection, circulating passes for area museums, digital books/audio/film and newspapers online, plus past issues of the Chatham Courier on microfilm. The Chatham Central School District operates the library, one of only two public libraries in NYS that are within a school district. The library is home to a beautiful Tiffany window, dedicated to the memory of Dr. John Thorne Wheeler, one of our founders, who appealed to Andrew Carnegie to place a library in our town.
