We have structured our program to be well rounded, focusing on learning about the mighty Hudson River, using sailing as the vehicle to make that learning possible.

We offer education programs for learners of all ages. Our programs are Pine Bush focused, aligned with learning standards, and incorporate best practices in education and interpretation. We offer programs for families, adults, and groups including school groups of all ages, from pre-school to college and everything in between. Programs include hikes, lectures and interactive presentations on a variety of subjects including history, plants, animals and geology.

The Austerlitz Historical Society offers a series of hands-on workshops and classes at Old Austerlitz each year. Past workshops have included: Blacksmithing, Open Hearth Cooking, Plein Air Painting, Making Sauerkraut, Introduction to Fly Fishing, Wreath Making, and Early American Woodworking Skills.

The Berkshire Museum offers a variety of enriching programs for kids, tweens, and teens from birth through high school including WeeMuse parent/child programs, Saturday gallery activities, after-school clubs, and more.

The Capital District Creative Learning Center was created to help bridge the gap for students who are online or on Zoom all day to have opportunities to interact with other people in person. A new and locally owned business, the CDCLC offers a mix of in-person classes and one-on-one tutoring on everything from art to school subjects, programming, music, and so much more! Nature programs

eba classes emphasize creativity, an individual point of view, dance as art and dance as an activity that everyone can participate in. Students learn dance technique in an encouraging, enjoyable and disciplined atmosphere. Each student then uses the dance steps they are mastering to create their own dances; developing both their minds and their bodies. Students study technique and create their own dances in every single Kids Dancspace @ eba class. The last five minutes of each class is parent observation time, so kids can develop their performance skills, and the parents can see what their child is learning and give lots of positive feedback via applause, applause, applause! The ThinQubator at Tech Valley Center of Gravity is one of just a small handful of children’s makerspaces around the world. Here, we empower kids and families to think, tinker, collaborate, skill-build, design, and MAKE. Through hands-on experiences, kids deeply explore science, technology, engineering, art and math in engaging, fun exercises.

We hold workshops and an annual entrepreneurial summer camp aimed at giving middle-school girls hands-on experience with different kinds of technology enabling them to interact with women who have carved out successful careers in technology fields.
