Join our Youth Academy this Fall from August to October! Designed for ages 10-15, our Saturday morning classes (9:30 a.m.) offer engaging and interactive Japanese language learning. With small class sizes (max 12 students), kids get personalized attention to boost their language skills in a fun and supportive environment. Enroll your child in our Youth Academy JPN1 this Fall!
For Beginner Learners (A1 Level)
Ages: 10-15 years old
When: Saturdays @ 9:30 a.m. for 8 weeks
Encourage your child’s interest in Japanese culture through engaging language experiences. Each session is filled with fun reading and lively discussions led by energetic Japanese teachers.
Fall Term:
- Start with greetings and self-introductions
- Learn the two basic writing systems needed to read manga
- No prerequisite required
Suggested Companion Learning:
- Hiragana Powerup Workshop
- Katakana Powerup Workshop
The Marugoto curriculum covers 9 topics per book, with each topic including 2 lessons. Each term, learners will cover 2 topics and enjoy a variety of activities.
