A Winter Workshop

In addition to our summer theatre camp, this year we are developing one of Liam’s (our founder) desires for a “more-than-summer” experience. This winter we will be holding an acting (and optional directing) experience located at A SPACE FOR DISCOVERY in the ViaPort Rotterdam Mall. (Please note that this is NOT located in our usual summer theatre camp location of the Albany Barn)
Throughout the class, students will engage in a variety of activities, including theater games, non-musical acting, comedy, staging scenes, line memorization, character study, props and costume design, scene direction, and more (perhaps a dash of fun science!). The workshop will culminate into the production of a vignette-style play.
CAMP DATES (choose one):
OPTION 1: Saturdays from January 24th – March 28th (No February 21st) from 10 AM – 12 PM
OPTION 2: Thursdays from January 22nd – March 26th (No February 19th) from 4 PM – 6 PM
OPTION 3: Both Options 1 and 2
* All sessions should be ready to attend the final Thursday (3/26) and final Saturday (3/28) for the full-show showcase on March 28th.

LOCATION: The Discovery Center (ViaPort Rotterdam Mall)
AGES: 8 – 18
SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE: Saturday, March 28th at 12 PM (immediately following the final 10 AM – 12 PM class)
COST: Free (Suggested Donation of $25 per student)
