*The event has already taken place on this date: Fri, 08/05/2016
Have a kid that loves playing video games? Want to learn how to create your very own video game? Come learn the science behind video game making this summer at Club Scientific. Science was never this much fun!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
This camp introduces the basics of game design and programming. Using our special video game creation program, designed for the absolute beginner, students, ages 9-14, will learn how to build their own video games. Creating fun action video games helps students gain creative and technical skills "by doing." Students will quickly begin creating and learning how programming logic works. Join us as we create arcade games, adventure games, and maze type games.
We have 3 different weeks of this camp offered at the Schenectady County Community College
