Tech Valley High School Information Session
These evening tours are especially designed for 8th graders who are considering applying to TVHS, or upperclassmen who are considering a transfer. At information sessions, families learn more about the Project-Based Learning model that our school embraces, our college in the high school program, and the I-Term internship experience that students engage in every year that they attend. TVHS is a BOCES program that provides a full-day, four-year high school experience for students. Students complete our program with Regents coursework and will receive a diploma from their home sending-district high school. Because we require four years of math and science, most students graduate with an Advanced Regents diploma and an average at least 15-20 college credits. Some students will graduate with an associates degree due to our wide range of dual enrollment options. Applicants participate in a non-selective lottery to get the chance to be a part of our small freshman cohort each year. Applicants are required to attend one information session with a parent or guardian.
