Summer Robotics Program: Session 1B

This immersive, in-person class introduces young adults ages 11-14 to the world of robotics through hands-in learning. Students will have access to their own individual LEGO MINDSTORM robot kits for the duration of the class, and will be able to design, build and program their very own robots! As they guide their robot through various challenges and tasks, students will not only learn the basics of robotics, but will also develop critical thinking, research and presentation skills—all while having fun with LEGOS.
The program is offered at three levels: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced. Each section takes place for three hours a day, M-F for one week. Students are encouraged to enter at the level they feel best suits them, and are welcome to sign up for multiple levels consecutively.
This session is an intermediate level course, with some prior experience recommended. This course takes place from 1-4pm, July 19-July 23. Combined Session 1 takes place M-F, July 12-30 and covers the beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Students who would like to sign up for all three levels consecutively will receive a small discount.
