The tale of humans and sheep goes back over 12,000 years. Join us as we learn more about these beautiful animals and how their fleece is processed to become your favorite sweater. We will try our hand at washing, carding, spinning and dyeing wool. Your finished project can be used for a variety of crafts from knitting to weaving to string art. These classes will be held at the pavilion area in Wallace Park on Swift Rd. For grades 3-6. Registrants must attend all three sessions. Register on July 1 calendar entry for all three sessions - 7/1, 8 & 22. Registration is limited and attendees MUST register and follow all COVID safety guidelines. More detailed guidelines and instructions will be available to those who register.
