In this popular culinary program, students will have the opportunity to create yummy snacks as well as learn simple kitchen skills and nutritional science. Children who cook often become children who will taste and try more diverse foods. During the week participants will learn about measurements, reading and following directions, sequencing, and the importance of health and hygiene in the kitchen. Children who cook tap into their creativity and develop earlier emotional growth. If they then bring those skills home participants find cooking together is a great way to bond as a family!
