Sketching the Woodland at Grafton Lakes State Park

*The event has already taken place on this date: Wed, 10/28/2020
Nature is the source of our love for beauty. Colors, shapes, and patterns give form to the singing birds, whispering trees, and silent blooms. Take a closer look at the nature around you and enjoy the meditative benefits of putting pencil to paper, reflecting what you see. We will provide No. 2 pencils, paper, and clipboards. Feel free to bring your own tools if you have a preference (you may want to bring colored pencils when the leaves start to change!). Be sure to bring water and a comfortable seat. This program is designed for ages 10 and up, and for a wide range of accessibility levels. Program meeting location will be shared when you pre-register. To pre-register, email graftonlakessp@parks.ny.gov by 4:00 PM on the Monday before the program (8/31, 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28). Please be sure to include the date and program title in your email. For example, "9/2 Sketching the Woodland." In your email, let us know how many people will be attending for your group, first and last names, and phone numbers. Please note that programming capacity is limited to meet COVID-19 safety requirements. Additionally, masks must be worn by all participants for the entire duration of the program. Lastly, patrons must keep social distance of 6 feet from other family groups throughout the program.
