Scuba Class Option-PADI Bubblemaker

Bubblemaker is as fun as it sounds-a chance for kids to blow bubbles by scuba diving. Children who are at least 8 years old or older can use scuba gear to breathe underwater and swim around in the shallow water. No prior experience is necessary.

November 11-Vacation Camp
Kids must be comfortable in the water, but no prior experience is necessary. Parent approval is required.
Bubblemakers get a chance to:
- experince scuba diving under the direct care and supervision of a PADI Pro.
- Take their first breaths underwater in water shallower than 2 metres/6feet.
- Learn about and use scuba diving equipment made for children-not adukts.
- Have lots of fun.
What scuba gear will they use?
In the Bubblemaker program, participants get a basic introduction to how to use scuba gear, how to clear a regulator and mask, and an overview of breathing do's and don'ts.
The Bubblemaker program is 1 1/2-2 hours, and will take place in the afternoon in our indoor pool. It will be taught by Gary Melius, Certified PADI Divemaster and Instructor with Doc's Scuba. The cost is $30 over Vacation Camp price and children must bring swimsuits and towels.
