STEAMwhiz Minecraft Sci-Tech Summer Camp for Beginner Thinkers & Doers is different! Reserved for our beginner STEAMwhiz Kids | Ages 6 – 8 yrs old | We focus on building logic skills, getting hands-on w/fun tech, VISUALLY based early exposure to ○ science ○ math ○ circuits ○ engineering ○ automation ○ that doesn’t depend on READING.

Week 1 | Science + Engineering – Real vs Minecraft
- Aug. 7 – 11
- Challenge: How does Minecraft defy the Laws of Science?
- Projects Include: Gravity Impact, Roller Derby, Fire When Ready
- Pre-requisites: Brains for thinking, hands for doing, and a positive growth mindset
Week 2 | Maker – 3D Prototyping + Design
- Aug. 14 – 18
- Challenge: Can you Design & 3D Print a Minecraft model?
- Projects Include: 3D Printing- Science + Design + Fabrication of Minecraft Characters & Skins
- Pre-requisites: basic keyboard + mouse skills, ability to focus for extended periods of time
