Run For the Roses 5K & Kids' 1 Mile Fun Run

Registration is open for the Run for the Roses 5K Foot Race on Sunday, August 13 at Grafton Lakes State Park. The event benefits Grafton Community Library, and includes a Kids’ 1 Mile Fun Run in addition to the USATF sanctioned 5K race. Register early for reduced entry fee. The 5K starts at 9 a.m., $25, day of race $30. Fun Run starts at 10 a.m., $10 either early or day of race. All registered 5K participants receive a tee-shirt, free book and a rose. Registered Fun Run children receive a tee-shirt, a free book, and a Stewart's ice cream certificate. Register online at www.finishright.com or download application from www.graftoncommunitylibrary.org. Applications are also available at Grafton Lakes State Park Office, 518 279-1155, and at the Grafton Library at 2455 NY Route 2.
