The main events of Raptor Fest will begin at 10am in the day use area. Local author, Darryl McGrath, will discuss her book Flight Paths and will be available for autographs. Mike Lemery, a local videographer, will share bald eagle footage, and his experience filming these incredible birds. Live birds of prey will be present all day, accompanied by wildlife rehabilitators from Whispering Willow Wild Care and Outpost #4, and there will be two flight demonstrations by Sky Hunters and Silent Wings. The day will also feature kids activities, an owl pellet dissection, bird box building, as well as food and artisan vendors. There will be a $6 fee per vehicle to enter the park after 8am.
