Pitch In for Parks! - Emma Treadwell Thacher Nature Center
Meet at the Nature Center, Ages 12 and up. Don't we all love Thacher State Park? Did you know April is Earth Month? This volunteer program is a great way to give back to the park and become an ecological steward. This is part of series of volunteer events held almost every Saturday during the warm weather months. Come to one or come to all, it makes a difference for the park! No experience needed. This series of volunteer days will alternate between vegetation management of introduced species and trail work. We will use hand tools; please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and appropriate close toed work shoes. Registration required.
