Open Magic Class - Intermediate

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 02/25/2023
Open Classes allow students of magic to take a class with us with little to no experience! They'll grab a deck of cards and log on to Zoom as a professional magician instructs a small group of up to five students ages 8-11 in an amazing card trick they will be able to perform right away.

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

An Open Class is a low-commitment way to join School of Magic Arts.  A professional magician will instruct the class in a classic stage magic effect. Students will also learn basics of performance and types of magic.

In this class, students will learn a classic card sleight in which the letters of the name of a card reveal its position in the deck!

This is an intermediate level magic class which means this student knows a couple of magic tricks, and has a strong interest in magic - may have a magic kit or performed for family or friends.

Our classes are very interactive and our instructors are professional magicians and school teachers who know how to keep classes safe, energetic, and fun!  School of Magic Arts has been teaching kids magic for over 5 years and has students in more than 100 cities across the U.S.

Students who want to take their magic further may be invited to join our Magic School weekly classes. These classes include a professionally curated SOMA Magician's Kit, opportunities to perform live throughout the year, and a whole community of like minded young magicians.

*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
