The camp is designed to teach and practice the fundamentals necessary to improve strength, speed, agility, and flexibility. All campers ages 8-19 will engage in speed drills, sample workouts, flexibility sessions, instructional videos, nutritional information lectures and video analysis. Athletes will engage in assistance and resistance workouts, speed ladder drills, plyometric exercises and form-running drills using biomechanical principles. Two hours will focus on improving upper and lower body strength, core strength and flexibility to help prevent injury. An additional two hours will be dedicated to speed enhancing, agility, balance and coordination. participants ages 8-13 will, for the most part, use their body weight for the weight training sessions, whereas ages 14-19 will be involved in weight training workouts.
