Join us for a fun workshop for the whole family! We will be making seed balls just in time for early spring tossing! We will discuss all the interesting insects and bugs that find their way into the wildflower patches, talk about germination, flower pollination, ecosystem services, and other awesome things that happen in the natural world when we help Mother Nature by sewing seeds that make her job easier!
This will be a family friendly class, so we welcome adults and children! Every registration comes with a packet of native wildflower seeds that can create a 15-30 square foot wildflower patch, and you will go home with 6 wildflower seed balls! Come have fun! Tea, herbal tea, and coffee will be provided! We ask that you bring your own mugs, but we will have compostable cups available.
There are two sessions you can choose from, the Morning Session 10:00am-12:00pm, and the Afternoon Session 1:00pm-3:00pm.
If you want to register only a child or children, we ask that no more than 2 adults accompany the child, and be sure to complete the registration form.
Recommended ages 4 to 104! This workshop is in partnership with Pine Hollow Arboretum and 20% of the proceeds will go to supporting them on their mission!
