Moth Watch

*The event has already taken place on this date: Mon, 06/14/2021
DATE CHANGE to Monday, June 14, 10PM. Moths! eewww! those little brown jobbers that eat clothes. Well, there are some big beautiful moths that don't get a lot of attention because they only come out at night. Early summer is the time to attract these large showy moths: luna, cecropia, polyphemus, and promethea moths. Join us as we use an ultraviolet light to attract these nocturnal beauties and learn about their biology and ecology. Partial funding provided through a grant from Stewart’s Shops
