Kitten Shower
The Kitten Shower is a family-friendly event to help get MHHS in tip-top shape to help care for hundreds of kittens who will come through our doors in 2026. There will be stuffed-animal adoptions, kittens, a bake sale, kittens, a raffle AND an auction, kittens, specialty non-alcoholic drinks, kittens, foster stories, activities...oh! and kittens! Note: This is not an adoption event.

Purr-sented by Just Cats Veterinary Clinic, P.C., this family friendly afternoon is all about getting ready for kitten season. Each year at MHHS, we care for 400+ kittens, and this event helps ensure they get the best possible start.
- Raffles + online auction
- Crafts, activities, & stuffed animal adoptions
- Vendors & sweet treats
- And of course... kittens!
We’re also excited to welcome Jaime Roberts on The Radio and Magic 590am 100.5fm bringing the classic hits, and our friends from WNYT NewsChannel 13’s Clear the Shelters, Caitlin Irla News and Rachel Tiede - Anchor/Meteorologist , joining in the fun!
Bringing a gift? Our most-needed items include kitten food, milk replacer, bottles, blankets, beds, and heating pads (gift cards always help, too!).
