The IceBreaker Challenge is a one of a kind Capital District running/walking road race challenging runners and walkers against rowers from the Albany Rowing Center. Runners/walkers will travel along the Corning Preserve Bicycle Path while rowers from the Albany Rowing Center will race alongside in shells on the Hudson River. It is also a major fundraiser for the Albany Rowing Center, helping us to expand access to rowing and to the Hudson River for community members of all ages. Come join us for this unique and exciting event at the Albany Rowing Center Boathouse in the Corning Preserve. $32.80 through March 27, Day of Race: $38.10
Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Kids run starts at 9:30 a.m., and 5K starts at 10:00 a.m.

Parking is available at the Corning Preserve Boat Launch. If the boat launch lot fills, parking attendants will direct you to an overflow lot.
