Director James Whale’s follow-up to 1931’s FRANKENSTEIN is even more celebrated than the original. Author Mary Shelley reveals that Dr. Frankenstein survived and wants to put his mad experiments behind him. His monster also survived, however, returning to kidnap Dr. Frankenstein’s wife. At the urging of an even madder young scientist, Dr. Frankenstein agrees to create yet another monster.. this time a woman! Boris Karloff, Colin Clive and Elsa Lanchester are among the stars. 75 minutes. Not rated.
