Frequently Asked Questions: A Circus Collective is a modern American circus company made up of friends, classmates, and coworkers. We are all first generation circus artists and each of us has our own unique story of how we came to the circus.
What we do share is an undying passion for our art and a respect for both the traditional and contemporary styles of circus- both of which are reflected in our creations.
So many other countries throughout the world have an incredibly rich circus culture and respect for the art. The United States is just beginning to discover modern circus, and we bring what we have learned from studying circus arts abroad back to our home country to inspire the growth of the modern American circus.
