Discover fall foliage with a day full of outings at Cherry Plain State Park!
Learn to hike safely off-trail, a whole new way to explore the woods with Cherry Plain’s own woodsman, Lloyd Barnhart. Hike our Waterfalls Trail with a guide to spot Fall photo opportunities. Learn about local wildlife with the park educators on a hike to the beaver lodge or through exploring their display of natural wonders. Enjoy chili and hotdogs on the open fire.
This day is especially made for outdoor enthusiasts, parents and children to enjoy the wilderness in a safe, exciting way. Also for every one of us who wants to see the glory of fall in our backyard.
