--- “Schenectady Day Nursery Fall Chicken BBQ Fundraiser” on Friday, September 15, 2017 from 4 PM – 6:30 PM with takeout pick up at the Corner of Lafayette and Liberty Streets (Potratz Advertising Parking Lot, 31 Lafayette Street) in Downtown Schenectady. The fund raiser will benefit Schenectady Day Nursery’s Nutrition Program. Children enrolled in Schenectady Day Nursery receive breakfast and a hot lunch each day; representing a significant portion of the annual budget. The caterer, “Little John’s BBQ,” will prepare a menu that includes a half chicken, baked potato, coleslaw and roll. Pre-sale tickets are $12 each through www.schenectadydaynursery.org. Tickets will be available for sale at the Open Door Bookstore, 128 Jay Street, Schenectady after September 3. They are $15 each on the day of the event.
