June 22 - 26 Games & Puzzles/Juegos & Rompecabezas (Mini Session I) Fun with Spanish while playing outdoor games, board games, puzzles & more! This is a perfect introduction to Spanish for your child and a good way to fill in the gaps between the school year and summer camp schedules!
June 29 - July 10 Cooking & Baking/Cocinar y Hornear
Children will be immersed in recipes that are traditional from Latino countries and from the United States. We will be cooking dishes from Quimbolito (traditional Ecuadorian dish) to veggie pizzas. All recipes will respect children's individual dietary needs. Children will enjoy learning skills of the kitchen and eating their projects! (Camp closed on Friday, July 3)
July 15 - 26 Arts & Crafts/Proyectos de Arte
Children will be active with a variety of hands-on craft creations to take home, including work inspired by the art of Eric Carle! The artist inside each child will be encouraged! And by the end of this session, each child will take home their own Eric Carle style book! Your child will be eager to show you their beautiful artwork!
July 29 - Aug 9 Soccer, Zumba & Yoga/Fútbol, Zumba & Yoga
This is the camp for your active child! We are going to keep moving with soccer, yoga, and Zumba! There will even be a 'splash day' with water play! This exciting camp will wrap-up with a friendly soccer match at Washington Park.
Aug 12 - 23 Bugs & Birds/Insectos & Pájaros
One week is focused on bugs and the other on observing birds! Children will have fun with scavenger hunts and with creating projects related to insects and the birds of the Northeast Woodlands. Your child will build a bird feeder to take home!
Aug 24 - 28 Games & Puzzles/Juegos & Rompecabezas (Mini Session II) Fun with Spanish while playing outdoor games, board games, puzzles & more! This is a perfect introduction to Spanish for your child and a good way to fill in the gaps between the school year and summer camp schedules!
