Camp Shalom for School-Aged Children at the Albany JCC

Field games, swimming, art, science, cooking and special theme days/weeks!!! For children entering 1st to 6th grades. Children are assigned to a room/pod with their own schedule, activities and two NYS OCFS cleared/trained staff members. Swimming lessons will be allowed for summer 2021! Swimming will occur in the morning for 45 minutes per group in our large Outdoor Pool.

Sample Schedule (times subject to change; in case of rain we have the Gym and Auditorium available):
- 8am-9am - Drop off, Free Play
- 9am-9:30am - Snack
- 9:30am-9:45am - Flagpole
- 9:45am-10:30am - Sports, Swim, Art, Nature, Ropes (groups rotate)
- 10:30am-11:15am - Sports, Swim , Art, Nature, Ropes (groups rotate)
- 11:15am-Noon - Sports, Swim, Art, Nature, Ropes (groups rotate)
- 12pm-1pm - Lunch Period
- 1pm-1:45pm - Playground, Sports, Art, Nature, Ropes, Counselor Planned Activities (groups rotate)
- 1:45pm-2:30pm - Playground, Sports, Art, Nature, Ropes, Counselor Planned Activities (groups rotate)
- 2:30pm-3pm - Snack
- 3pm-3:45pm - Playground, Sports, Art, Nature, Ropes, Counselor Planned Activities (groups rotate)
- 3:45pm-4:30pm - Playground, Sports, Art, Nature, Ropes, Counselor Planned Activities (groups rotate)
- 4:30pm-5:30pm - Cleanup, Pick Up
