Build a Bird House & Tool Box
The Wooden Boat School at the Hudson River Maritime Museum will host a woodworking program teaching students skills in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood, and how to use a bandsaw, drill press, jig saw, and drills.

The Wooden Boat School at the Hudson River Maritime Museum will offer four weeks of woodworking programs this summer for ages 12-16. Each session runs Monday-Friday from 10am-2pm and is designed to introduce students to the basics of woodworking and carpentry. Each 4 hour class will employ shop safety, measuring, layout, joinery, and tool use and care. Each class will introduce additional tools and their applications.
