BioPalette will celebrate the Brain awareness week with brain games - brain games are a fun way to learn about the complex ways in which human brain works and appreciate the benefits of brain research.
About Brain Awareness Week:
Every year in March, the Society for Neuroscience along with the Dana Alliance for Brain Initiatives celebrates Brain Awareness week. The initiative, which is a global campaign, is to promote the benefits of brain research - both personal and public. This year, the week of March 13-19 is the Brain awareness week but any week in March is good to spread the news about brain research.
- This year's event from March 13-19, 2017 is 22nd annual celebration of Brain Awareness week (BAW).
- The campaign’s goal is to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research.
- BAW is a global partnership of government agencies, scientific organizations, universities, hospitals, service groups, professional associations, schools, and others.
- Hundreds of BAW events take place each year, organized by partners to meet one or more of the following goals: scientific, education, or advocacy outreach.
The event is OPEN and FREE to the general public with lots of games, and hands-on learning experience for the whole family and will be taking place in the large auditorium of Albany public library.
