Bats: Creatures of the Night

Nature is the source of our love for beauty. Colors, shapes, and patterns give form to the singing birds, whispering trees, and silent blooms. Take a closer look at the nature around you and enjoy the meditative benefits of putting pencil to paper, reflecting what you see. We will provide No. 2 pencils, paper, and clipboards. Feel free to bring your own tools if you have a preference (you may want to bring colored pencils when the leaves start to change!). Be sure to bring water and a comfortable seat. Bring layers, as we will be sitting still in chilly weather! This program will be held Wednesdays at 4:00 PM on 10/7, 10/14, 10/21, and 10/28. Due to the short walk from the parking area, late arrivals are OK with advance notice. This program is designed for ages 10 and up, and for a wide range of accessibility levels. Program meeting location will be shared when you pre-register. To pre-register, email graftonlakessp@parks.ny.gov by 4:00 PM on the Monday before the program (10/5, 10/12, 10/19, and 10/26). Please note that programming capacity is limited to meet COVID-19 safety requirements. Additionally, masks must be worn by all participants for the entire duration of the program and patrons must keep social distance of 6 feet from other groups
